Inspired by the cross-hatching technique in sketching and close ups of loosely-woven jute, becomes the pattern that is machine-cut onto light, thin strips of veneer which are bent into simple silhouettes to highlight texture. Wood veneer is pressed, cut and bent by hand into various shapes and layered for functionality yet still keeping a light, airy look.
