Playing with the properties of wood is ingrained in our design process and the Hatch Collection is a testament to our love for experimentation. For this collection, our process takes us into developing different patterns and how they affect the flexibility of wood veneer.
The pattern seen in this collection is inspired by the small shapes made from open weaving as well as the hatching technique used in drawing, the collection’s namesake. These are then cut out onto veneer and bent into different forms which we used in lighting and seating.
